ABSTRACT
Speaking is an activity that is usually carried out to express feeling and ideas. Usually communication will take place well if both speakers and listeners can understand the message using a certain language. In learning English, students who want to be fluent in speaking they have to learn some language components, such as pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, students and teachers must carry out online learning, this is what causes teachers to be able to use certain applications to teach. Therefore, this study aims at answering the question: “How are the speaking ability of the 2nd grade students after being taught using AutoPlay Media Studio mix Google Meet at SMKN2 Kediri?” It was a quantitative research, and the sample was 22 students. The data was taken by giving a test using One-Shot Case Study to the students. The findings of this study show the average score of the students’ speaking was 77. This result can be categorized as “good”.It means that the students can practice speaking using AutoPlay Media Studio and Google Class Meet during the pandemic. Knowing the fact, it is suggested for other English teacher to used AutoPlay Media Studio and Google Class Meet as the applications to teach English in virtual learning.
