ABSTRACT

The Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture published a policy dealing with teaching and learning process since March 2020 because of the spread of Covid-19 virus. It forced teachers, lecturers and students must adapt with the new condition. Online teaching and learning is the only solution for this condition. Teachers and lecturers have to be familiar with technology to carry on the learning process. However, there were many problems and obstacles faced by the teachers and lecturers, especially in using technology. Moreover, they have to select the right teaching method in order to facilitate students reach certain learning out comes as well as a number of soft skill. The writer of this article want to share ideas based on her experiences in teaching Profession English to the students of Elementary School Education Department, University of Nusantara PGRI. This article focuses on utilizing technology to teach the subject during the Covid-19 Pandemic. It covers online learning, Project-based Learning, some applications used to teach online. The writer hopes that this article is valuable insight for other teachers or lecturers.
